The family of the late Sadie Groogan (nee Clerkin) would like to express our sincere heartfelt thanks to all who paid their respects and sympathies with us on our recent and sudden bereavement of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, friend and neighbour.

Many thanks to you all who travelled near and far to attend mammy's wake/ funeral service, who visited, sent mass/sympathy cards, sent text messages and online messages and to those who assembled en route to the chapel. Your expressions of sympathy have been a great comfort to us at this difficult time. We are extremely grateful to you all for your presence, kind words, generosity and compassion.

We are truly grateful to all of those who brought food especially Sperrin Bakery and Delicious for their kind donation. We greatly appreciate all the help we received behind the scenes from our great neighbours, friends and extended family. To the ladies who gave up their time to serve refreshments during the wake we will be forever grateful.

Sadie’s family wish to convey their appreciation to Fr. Madden for the beautiful requiem mass and lovely stories about Sadie. Also a special thanks to Fr. McCaul as well as Fr. Madden for their spiritual support at this time.

Sincere appreciation to the paramedics, doctors and nurses from the Royal Hospital. Also a special word of thanks to Draperstown Surgery and O’Kane’s Chemists for their exceptional compassion and care in looking after mammy over the years.
