The family of the late Kevin Henry wish to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered support, sympathy, and kindness during their recent bereavement.
A sincere thank you to family, friends, relatives and neighbours who called at the house. We greatly appreciate the mass cards, messages of support and condolences both in person and online. We take great comfort in how well thought of daddy was and appreciate the tributes offered to him.
We would like to thank and extend our gratitude to our local priests Fr Madden and Fr McCaul. Thank you both for your spiritual support, prayers and guidance. Thanks to Fr. McCaul for his beautiful requiem mass and for his communication with the family. Thanks also to Una McGill for the beautiful music and singing at the funeral mass. Thank you to all who attended the funeral mass. Also, thank you to the staff and pupils of St. Columba’s Primary School for providing a Guard of Honour. This was a lovely gesture and greatly appreciated.
We extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of A1 in Antrim Area Hospital who attended daddy with kindness and compassion.
A huge thank you to all those who brought food and refreshments for the wake. Your generosity was extremely appreciated by all the family. Thank you to Paul and Nicki of Straw Service Station, Colette and John Glass of Delicious, Diamond Meats and Sperrin Bakery for all the food and supplies you sent to the wake house. Thanks to Yardmaster for the use of their parking facilities. Thanks also to Ballinascreen GAC for providing and hosting the funeral dinner and for the use of their chairs and equipment for the wake.
Finally we would like to thank Kevin Murray Funeral Director and Michael McDaid for their care, professionalism and the dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
The month’s mind mass for Kevin will be celebrated on Friday 20th March at 7.30pm in Holy Rosary Chapel, Draperstown.
