The family of the late Kevin Kelly, Glon-Kel House, 62 Bancran Road, Draperstown, wish to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised and supported them in their time of sadness on the death of Kevin.
Sincere thanks to all who attended the wake, funeral and to daddy's friends and neighbours who supported us and visited him during his illness. To those who brought hot and cold foodstuff to the house, sent Mass Cards, sympathy cards and social media messages. To everyone who helped in the kitchen, all the lads who helped park cars etc in such inclement weather, JPS Construction for the lighting, Vector Print & Design and St. Colm's GAC, for the use of their equipment. Thanks also to J.F. Kelly Electrical clients & employees and The Beauty Loft Clientele for their understanding, patience and support throughout daddy's illness.
We wish to acknowledge the unfailing attention given to daddy by the Doctors, Nurses & Admin staff of Draperstown Surgery and latterly, the Oaks Medical Centre, Cookstown, Antrim Area Hospital, Paramedics & Ambulance Service and Nurses & Carers of Drapersfield House.
A special mention to Fr. Madden for his support and comforting presence during the wake and the lovely funeral Mass.
The meaningful words and how he captured the essence of our father provided great solace to us all. Thank you to Fr Joe Gormley, who concelebrated the funeral Mass and to Fr. McCaul and Father Sean McGuigan for their pastoral care. To everyone who participated in the service, his grand children, nieces, daughters-in-law, nephews & great nephew. To Bridget, the sacristan, Josephine the lay minister, Stephen Mallon, Florist, Devlin Media, Donna Taggart for the beautiful singing and Matt McGinn for the music.
Finally thanks to Kevin Murray and his team for their guidance, compassion and unobtrusive approach in carrying out their duties in the most dignified and professional manner. As it is impossible to thank each one individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest gratitude.
"Thank you for your kindness, which can never be repaid,
For your time and empathy and the difference that it made.
Thank you doesnt seem to be enough, for all you've seen us through,
That's why this world's a better place,
For having friends like you"
Daddy's month mind Mass will be celebrated Friday 28th November, at 7.30pm in Holy Rosary Church, Draperstown.
