I’m just getting started! Made the decision to make a comeback to competitive as a masters athlete. My training starts back up January 5th but it’s amazing how my mindset has snapped into gear. Last year I was focussed on fulfilling a dream of stepping on stage. This year has been turmoil but next year is my focus. I’m not coaching as many classes so fatigue and hunger whilst inevitable shouldn’t be anywhere near as hard as last year I was actively coaching 12 classes, doing my daily cardio and step, 1 hour posing practice on top of training then menopause kicked in yet I still came 2nd.
Hopefully with less hurdles I can fully engage and see where this path is leading. I just want a fair shot and to see if I can cut the mustard🤩 energised and ready to go💪🏾my coach gives me the macros and the plan I do the nutrition.

Kerry smashing her training session with me and has been sneakily kicking my head into focus with her inquisitive nature. Then my daughters inspired me this morning and my decision has now been made. After the crazy 2025 I’ve had from behind the scenes stress to prolonged carbon monoxide poisoning and all of its side effects I’ve realised that the things I love, the things I’m passionate about mustn’t be taken for granted. Life’s there to be lived, dreams to be chased. So with that in mind I’ve set myself the of returning to 2026. No more wondering where I’d be if my left lat popped properly or if I’d have been in the masters category. Time to answer the question. I’m focussed and ready. I start training in January under my amazing coach 👀

My eldest just sent me this and said ‘remember when it was a dream mum?’ I often wonder how far I’d have gone if left lat had of fired properly but I don’t live in regret. This achievement was 17 weeks of dedication, menopausal, double C-section scar, knee and shoulder issues but you know what??? They’re excuses. My aim was to chase a dream and I did it. Would I return as a masters athlete very tempted but my girls said I was very hangry🤣🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ truth is you want it you go get it! My full transformation from age 34-46yrs. I’m using the knowledge gained to now support clients. Life is a road and what will be will be👊🏽 just remember you never know who you’re inspiring so hold your head up and stride forward💪🏾

When Kerry came to me 9 months ago after losing weight fast via she was so weak she couldn’t open a jar let alone lift her disabled son to bed. Kerry wasn’t focussed on weight loss she just wanted to be strong enough to live life.
Her bypass had left her severely nutrient deficient. To address this we liaised with her gp for blood work to highlight and address where she was deficient.
All this is now in order and Kerry’s new body composition is taking effect.
Kerry was also concerned as she wasn’t eating healthily and hated her sagging skin. Kerry wore massive clothing to hide this yet now proudly goes shopping, can lift more than her bodyweight up to 130kg on hip thrust 70kg on deadlift and all with severe hypermobility and other health issues. Kerry put her trust in me to coach her holistically and now her little boy thinks she’s a gladiator. The journey is far from over but the moral of the story? Do your research. Not all coaches are focussed on your goal. If something’s off don’t kid yourself and waste your money.
You can do this you just have to have courage and . To date Kerry has lost 19stone but we’re now focussed on strong not skinny🤩💪🏾

If your mindset is off you’ll not achieve your goal. Disabilities are not obstacles they’re challenges. Find the right coach who will support instead of blowing smoke up your ass because they money focussed.
If you are not getting where you want to be you’ve either got the wrong coach or the wrong attitude. Be honest with yourself and go smash life👊🏽
