Crematorium Etiquette
We understand that funerals are a very difficult time for families. Due to the nature of our work, we support many families throughout the day along with the amazing Funeral Directors and officiations so with your help we can continue to provide the care and respect each service deserves.
We kindly ask all visitors to be mindful of crematorium etiquette. While we appreciate that funerals can be an opportunity to reconnect with family members and old friends, please remember that at the same time, another family may be saying a very emotional goodbye in the chapel. We have signs placed out to keep a respectful environment, and we simply ask that you keep noise to a minimum and remain considerate of others.
As many people travel by car due to our location, especially for well-attended services, we ask that you park safely and thoughtfully. Please be mindful that others will also need space, and use the designated overflow car park where necessary. We kindly ask that you do not park on the scatter lawns at the front, which are clearly marked with signage.
Additionally, please avoid using your car horn when arriving or leaving, as another service may be taking place in the chapel.
We offer extended chapel time to help families avoid feeling rushed and to ensure that each goodbye can take place with dignity. This also allows time, should you wish, to greet attendees after the service, speak to your funeral director when arranging for more information.
We're a pet friendly crematorium and love to see your furry friends, but again we are a place where families have chosen for their loved ones memorials, whether its a grave plot or laying to rest on our scatter lawns, please keep pets on leads when around the grounds and always clean up any mess.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation
