🌿 A lovely walk through Bluebell Woods 🌿
Last week one of our groups enjoyed a peaceful visit to Burton Bushes near Beverley, often known locally as Bluebell Woods.
Burton Bushes is a beautiful natural woodland with winding paths, tall trees and plenty of wildlife. It’s a lovely place to slow down, enjoy the fresh air and take in the sights and sounds of nature.
In spring the woodland floor is famous for its stunning carpets of bluebells, which is how it gets its nickname “Bluebell Woods”. Even outside bluebell season it’s still a wonderful place to explore, with birds to spot, trees to admire and plenty of space for a relaxed countryside walk.
For the people we support at Acorn Personal Development Centre, trips like this are a great opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy gentle exercise and spend time together in nature. Sometimes the simplest things - a walk in the woods, fresh air and good company - are the most enjoyable.
A really lovely outing and one we’re sure we’ll repeat again soon 🌳
