As we wrap up our final training session of the year, we wanted to pause and say a heartfelt thank you.

To everyone who has taken a few minutes to leave feedback this year, please know it never goes unnoticed. Your words genuinely matter. They help us reflect, improve, and remind us why we do what we do.

Running a family business can be busy, noisy and sometimes exhausting, but reading your feedback is one of those moments that makes us stop, smile and feel incredibly proud of the work we deliver and the people we work with.

Brewster has continued his reign of chaos.

Today’s incident involves a trainer’s desk, an excessive number of mini ducks, and one very smug elf holding the largest one of all.

There was no note.
No explanation.
Just ducks.
Everywhere.

It’s impressive.
It’s unnecessary.
And it’s really, really annoying 🦆🧝‍♂️💜

After one refresher session, Brewster has decided he’s ready to teach.

He’s taken up position at the whiteboard and is leading a discussion on concussion.

Brewster had a long week…

Late arrival.
Overnight refresher.
CPR practice.
Biscuit-related incidents.

So this is how he decided to spend the weekend - propping up a very well stocked bar 🍸😆

We’re not convinced this was covered in his risk assessment or that Santa will approve but we’re prepared to let him off providing it doesn’t affect his work this week!

Brewster is finally completing his annual refresher.

Today’s focus: CPR on one of our baby manikins 🍼

We’ are pleased to report improved technique, better focus and only minimal distractions.

Proof that even elves need regular refresher training 😆💜

Shocking scenes from FABHQ

We’ve caught Brewster red handed on CCTV, zip-wiring down from the top of the cupboard where the biscuits are stashed 😆🍪

No helmet.
No supervision.
And absolutely no evidence of a risk assessment being completed beforehand.

He’s claiming it was a “dynamic assessment” and therefore doesn’t require paperwork.

We are not convinced.

For now, the biscuits are under protective custody 💜🧝‍♂️

🎁💜 Our Donation Box is Ready💜🎁

We’re supporting The Hinge Centre Non-Uniform Day on Friday 12th December, and our collection box is now set up in the FabTraining training room!

If you’re joining us for a course between now and then, feel free to drop in a donation as every single penny helps The Hinge support local families who really need a bit of extra help this winter.

On the day itself, we’ll be getting into the spirit with our own Fab non-uniform day (expect jumpers, colours, and probably a fair bit of chaos!)

Brewster has only just arrived for December so naturally, he’s been put straight to work on a Saturday. (That will teach him for being late!)

Today’s tasks:
✍️ Writing our Christmas cards
✉️ Stuffing envelopes with our brand new 2026 desk calendars
🎁 Adding a little New Year special offer

He’s claiming this counts as “overtime” and wants to negotiate biscuits as payment.

All we know is: the first batch is ready for our elves to deliver next week so keep an eye on your letterbox! 💜🎄
