The High Street has woken up sparkling like it spent the night talking to the northern lights.

Today, we pause to remember and honour the courage and sacrifice of all those who served and gave their lives in conflict.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

Sadly this is so heartbreakingly true & just lately there are more drivers on the roads being impatient & trying to push in on the Funeral Cortège - between the Hearse & Limousines with bereaved family members in.
This is happening to the point where accidents have nearly been caused because someone just wants to cut in, or to cut through.
I appreciate we drive slower, but this is someone’s final journey & this is done out of respect.
Whether this makes you one minute, or two minutes late for where you need to be, think about that person who has passed and the families that are following.

The Journey

We danced with many memories, as you laid on your last bed.
We had music in our hearts, that sang the words we said.
Each tear shared our stories, the laughter dried each tear.
I could see you were in heaven, with all your angels near.
Our hands caught the moments, we passed them to each other.
A moment of a blessed life, sitting with our Mother.
A time to say goodbye, but not one for letting go.
A time to whisper gently, how I love you so.
A time I got to repay, what you gave me at
birth.
A place where only love lives, in heaven as it did on Earth.
