Last week, AKW's Simon Hancox and Lauren Jones supported Efficiency East Midlands’ (EEM) annual Christmas food bank drive and fundraiser, where 4x the amount of donations were made compared to the previous year and £4,000 was fundraised, which will go to two local food banks.

In October, CEO Stephen Murphy, Sales Directors Stuart Fearn and Vince Moorton, and Business Development Manager Michael Kelly from AKW spent a day volunteering at the charity shop distribution centre for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, as part of our Helping Hands volunteering scheme.

Shooting Star are a leading children’s hospice charity supporting over 700 children and their families, throughout Surrey and across 14 boroughs of London, 365 days a year.

Produced in collaboration with The OT Service and Arthritis UK, whose insights have been invaluable, we were delighted to welcome David Morgan from Arthritis UK to our stand at the Occupational Therapy Show last week, where we presented him with his own copy.
