❤️
As Christmas gets closer, our loved ones in heaven come closer too. They move into our days, our thoughts, and our hearts because they know this time of year can be difficult for those left behind.
They see the sadness, the missing, and the quiet moments when it all feels heavier. And what they try to do most is help us heal. They don’t want us stuck in pain. They want us to feel supported, guided, and reminded that love hasn’t ended ~ it has simply changed.
They sit with us in ways we don’t always notice. Through memories that surface at just the right time. Through moments of comfort that don’t quite make sense. Through the feeling of someone being “close” even when no one is there. This is their way of saying, you’re not on your own.
They also still look forward to Christmas themselves. In heaven, Christmas isn’t about what’s missing ~ it’s about love. They gather with others they love, including pets, and they stay connected to the people on earth they care about most. Christmas Day is still special to them because it’s a day shared between both worlds.
On the day itself, they are present. Watching, smiling, listening. They don’t want tears to be the only thing remembered. They hope for stories, laughter, and their name being spoken with smiles rather than pain.
They whisper into hearts, encourage conversations, and gently guide healing forward. Not rushing it. Not forcing it. Just supporting it.
You are being held closer than you think, and love is still very much alive ♥️
