About me!

I'm Luke, and I am a fully HCPC registered, chartered physiotherapist, graduating in 2010 from Manchester Metropolitan University, with 12 years experience working in both the NHS and private practice, in acute and rehabilitation settings. I combine part time clinical work with my current role as a Physiotherapy Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University.
I have extensive experience working with conditions such as;
-Stroke
-Multiple Sclerosis
-Parkinsons Disease
-Brain injury
-Falls and frailty

I am passionate about working with people with neurological conditions and keep active in up to date research and current practice through membership of the neurological physiotherapy special interest group ACPIN, attending relevant courses and events.
I aim to promote independence and quality of life, and work with people towards their goals, and to reach their potential.

When not working I enjoy music, football and spending time with my partner and 3 year old son, exploring all the walks and green space we are so lucky to have on our doorstep here.
