I was rushing from one commitment to another on Monday when I realised I wasn't as focused as I should be. Our beautiful Poppy had bloomed and I stopped for a moment to appreciate it. While I was admiring its beauty I found a little bee diving into the flower and doing it's thing. I stood transfixed for a moment and became absorbed in watching his path around the flowers.
When he flew of I realised how focused I'd been on the moment.
This is the power we use in hypnotherapy, being absorbed into the moment and stopping that busy mind for a moment.
Embracing this part of our mind in our daily lives can help us reconnect with ourselves amongst all the noise.

Busy day doing some cpd with some lovely colleagues today and received two wonderful updates. A lady who came to me to give up va**ng who hasn't touched it in the month since her single session and a lovely anxiety client having success with an initial session for claustrophobia. Reminded me how lucky we are to have this job.
