Update from Sandwell College.

We have open evening and day at Cradley campus for September 2026 starts, if you have any young people who are interested in Foundation Learning at Cradley.

Could you please ask them to either come along on Wednesday 4th March between 3.30pm - 7pm - if they can't make that we have an open day event on Saturday 9th May from 11am - 3pm.

We also have an adult course that will be running for 19+ focusing on employability which will be running 2 days a week - they don't need an EHCP.

Alternatively they could email me and book in on a different day.

Also Foundation Learning at the main Sandwell college campus will also be running the same dates and times, please share!

*Update*

Essential maintenance will be taking place at Crystal Leisure Centre from Monday 2 March. During this time, the leisure pool and 25 metre pool will be closed for approximately four weeks while important work is carried out on the boiler, helping to improve water and air temperatures and ensure the centre is more energy efficient. Swimming sessions, including all lessons and parties, will not run during this time.

To allow safe access for the work to be completed, the soft play area will also close on weekdays during this period.

All other activities at the centre will operate as usual, and the swimming pools and soft play at Duncan Edwards and Halesowen leisure centres remain open as normal.

💃🕺 We’re looking to see if there’s interest in starting weekly dance lessons with APA for SEND adults (18+).

Lessons would be fun, supportive, and suitable for all abilities, with opportunities to take part in competitions for those who would like to work towards them. No experience needed.

If you (or someone you support) might be interested, please comment below or send us a text message so we can gauge numbers.

This would possibly be on a Saturday morning at St Johns Church Hall, Dudley Wood.
