Looking out for signs and symptoms of breast cancer can save your life. Make sure you check monthly and know what looks normal for you.
Signs to look for include:
• visible lump on armpit
• a lump in the breast
• dimpled or depressed skin
• swelling of all or part of breast
• ni**le changes inversion
• redness and heat
• skin irritation or texture change
• bloody discharge.
If any of the signs are there, go to your GP. It may be nothing, but if it is breast cancer, the earlier it’s diagnosed the better.
Keep an eye out for your breast screening letter if you are between 50 and 71 years old. Remember, early detection increases the chances of recovery.
