We were honoured to be nominated and become a finalist for the Regional Home Care Employer Award at this year’s British Care Awards!🏆

Although we didn’t take home the award, we had a fabulous night and we’re incredibly proud to have been recognised among so many outstanding organisations!

This nomination is a reflection of our amazing team — their dedication, compassion, and commitment to providing exceptional care every single day. It’s also a testament to our wonderful management team, who work tirelessly to support, guide, and look after our staff, ensuring they feel valued and empowered to do their best💜

We’re already looking forward to 2026 — and who knows, maybe next year we’ll bring that award home! 🏆

Abbie became part of the DHC family in 2022 as a Community Care Worker — at just 17 years old, starting her very first job! 💪

Since then, Abbie has achieved so much — from learning to drive and purchasing her first car 🚗 to stepping up into her new role as a Senior Carer.
