NHS requirements on wearing masks and maintaining social distancing will not be changing from the 19th July, regardless of any lifting of lockdown restrictions being announced by the prime minister.
This means that staff, patients and visitors to our sites will need to continue to wear masks and maintain a 1m distance after 19th July.

We have now finished calling our over 70s and Clinical Extremely Vulnerable List (shielding patients only). If you have not been contacted and you fall into this category, can you please call Horseley Heath TOMORROW after 10am to speak to Emma who can book you an appointment. The telephone number is 0121 557 2027 to make you an appointment at Portway Lifestyle Centre. If you require a destination closer then please wait for the letter from the government.

We have finished contacting all the patients in the over 80s category but if you or you know someone that has not been contacted then please give us a call and an appointment will be arranged at Portway. Any patients who are not able to get to the Vaccination centre will be contacted when we are given the vaccines to administer at the practice but please note this still may be a couple of months or more, so if you can get to Portway Leisure Centre, then we can offer you an appointment straight away. Wheelchairs are available to use.

As we near Christmas we want to wish all our patients a Merry Christmas. It has been a long hard year for all of us and lets hope the new year brings happiness and joy. We have been told that we can’t put many Christmas decorations up this year due to infection control, so I am asking all the children/ adults from both surgeries to make some pretty Christmas pictures/ drawings or paintings so we can laminate and put around Horseley Heath Surgery and Tandon Medical Centre. The best picture will win a prize so make sure you put your name and and telephone number on the back of the picture.

This year the goverment is offering free flu jabs for 50-64 year olds for the first time due to the pandemic. If you are interested please reply YES, so that we can order the necessary number of vaccinations.
