• We’ve reached 200 followers on Facebook! 🎉
A massive thank you to everyone who supports and follows us — it genuinely means a lot to our whole team, and it’s something we never take for granted 💚

• Following our recent post to gauge interest in private COVID vaccinations, we were both surprised and delighted by the response! The original 10 vaccines we ordered have now all been used, and due to the demand, we’ve managed to secure more stock. If you’re interested in booking one, please get in touch while they’re still available. 💉

• We’re also well into our flu vaccine season — and there’s still time to get protected:
🩵 Private flu vaccines (£15) – available now for anyone aged 18+
💙 NHS flu vaccines (ages 18–65 in eligible groups) – plenty of stock available
💛 Over 65 NHS flu vaccines – stock is limited, so please contact us soon to avoid missing out

📢 Covid Vaccine – Community Interest Post 📢

We’ve had a few enquiries recently about whether Covid vaccines 💉 could be made available privately through Greenhead Pharmacy.

At the moment, the NHS are only providing them to those aged 75 and over (or in certain higher-risk groups). Unfortunately, for anyone outside these groups, there is no NHS provision.

We’ve looked into whether we could offer them privately, but sadly the vaccines can only be ordered directly from manufacturers in boxes of 10 📦and are quite expensive. The cost works out at £90 per vaccine, which is higher than we’d like, but unfortunately out of our control.

👉 Before we commit to ordering a box, we’d like to know if there would be enough interest locally at this price point to make it worthwhile.

🍂💉 NHS Flu Vaccinations at Greenhead Pharmacy 💉🍂

We’re pleased to announce that our NHS flu vaccination service will be starting this Wednesday, just in time for the new month! 🙌

✅ Limited stock available for:
• Everyone aged 65 and over
• Ages 18–64 who are eligible under NHS criteria, including:
• Residents of long-term care homes 🏡
• Those at risk (Green Book Chapter 19), including people experiencing homelessness or substance misuse
• Asylum seekers living in Home Office hotels/B&Bs
• Pregnant women 🤰
• Frontline health & social care workers 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
• Non-frontline NHS staff 🏥
• Poultry workers & bird keepers 🐓
• Unpaid carers & young carers ❤️
• Household contacts of people with immunosuppression 🫂

⚠️ We cannot stress enough that this is very limited stock – please book quickly as we don’t know how much more will be supplied once it runs out.

Flu season is here, and we’re here to help keep you covered. Greenhead Pharmacy will be offering private flu vaccines for only £15 – available for anyone who wants to get protected early this season. Just pop in- no need for an appointment!
