Just Breathe O2 C.I.C has been created in order to offer accessible oxygen therapy to a wide range of individuals across the South of Scotland and beyond. Oxygen therapy provides people with the opportunity to self-manage the many symptoms associated with long term and complex health concerns. Just Breathe O2 commits to support everyone within the community, actively assisting to combat social isolation and encouraging individuals to access the treatment and support on offer. Just Breathe O2 will aspire to become a role model for innovative therapy and research into oxygen therapy treatment, and how such treatment and support can best be delivered. The health and well-being outcomes achieved by Just Breathe O2 will be based on the aspiration to make a significant contribution to the delivery of the Government Healthcare agenda in the region and act as an inspiration to other areas of what is possible. Oxygen therapy is an extremely safe therapy which helps a wide range of different health concerns, including, but by no means limited to; Cerebral Palsy, Parkinsons, COPD, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Crohns & Colitis, ME, Long covid, cancer, post radiotherapy trauma, wound recovery, MS, post viral fatigue and many many more.

The finish line is in sight! 🏁🌿

It’s Friday evening, and I’m taking a moment to appreciate how far we’ve come this week.

This installation has thrown us a few curveballs, but that’s the reality of building something special. We’ll be here all weekend completing the final safety testing so we can get back to what we do best: helping you heal.

We’ll be open for single-chamber sessions on Monday, and we will update you the second the new chamber is ready for everyone.

Ouzo and Mack have been "supervising" the move all week. While Mack investigates every drill, Ouzo has mastered the art of napping through plumbing.

👀Keep your eyes peeled for a very special Paws for Thought Reel dropping tonight!

It’s Thursday, and usually, we’re here to offer some calm, clinic wisdom. This week, our wisdom is: "If you can’t beat the noise, nap through it (Ouzo) or inspect it very closely (Mack)."

It’s been a week of early starts and late finishes as we move into our new home at the Arena. Between the joiners, the plumbers, and the constant "clunk" of progress, we’ve been giving the new space a full performance review:

👴 Ouzo’s Professional Opinion:

I have reached a level of Zen the humans can only envy. As long as my bed moved a few doors down the corridor with me, I’m happy. I’ve been napping through the joinery work, occasionally opening one eye to ensure the plumbing is up to code. 10/10 for staying calm under pressure.

👦 Mack’s Junior Inspector Report:

I’m finding the whole "walls moving" thing very intriguing. I’m not quite as Zen as Ouzo—there have been some loud noises and security testing that required a few investigative barks—but overall, I’ve been a very good boy. I’m working overtime as the self-appointed (and very curious) Security Guard for every new plumber that walks through the door.

A quick site update: We’ve both been so involved in the decorating that we are currently sporting matching paint on our tails. Consider it the latest in high-fashion "painter-decorator" chic. 🖌️🐕‍🦺

It’s been a hectic week, but we are so excited. We can’t wait to see all the usual friendly faces coming back for their sessions when we reopen!

SHE’S IN! 🏗️✨

Today was a monumental day for Just Breathe O2. Our new 4-person multiplace chamber has officially arrived and is now in position!

A project of this scale doesn't happen without an incredible team. A massive thank you to everyone who turned up today to make a complex move look easy:

Stuart at O2 Worx: Your pre-planning was the backbone of today's success. Thank you for making it so straightforward.

Queen of the South FC: A huge thank you to the club for their ongoing support and for ensuring everything ran like clockwork on-site today. We are proud to call Palmerston Park our home. 🏟️🤝

Alex at AMD Contract Services ltd: You went above and beyond the "Telehandler operator" role—thank you for your expertise.

Building Craftsmen: For the lads jumping in to help exactly when needed without even being asked.

Hire and Supplies Ltd: For ensuring our floor pallets were charged and ready to go (saving a few backs in the process!).

Mark Irwin & Mark Carnochan: For being on hand to help get everything across the finish line.

The "big strong men" on site might have been able to move it manually, but thanks to this team effort, it was a smooth, professional installation.

We are one step closer to opening our doors in March and bringing this new level of support to the South West of Scotland.

OFFICIALLY OURS! 🥂✨

Yesterday was a huge day at the factory in Aberdeen. We’ve officially signed off and paid for our brand-new 4-person chamber. After months of planning, logistics, and a massive investment, the hardware is officially Just Breathe O2’s!

Mack and Ouzo have given it the final "sniff test," and I can confirm: it is spectacular. This isn't just a piece of machinery; it’s a commitment to our community to provide more space, more comfort, and better accessibility.

With the big arrival scheduled for Palmerston Park this Tuesday, we’ve retreated to a quiet glen in the Highlands for the weekend. A cozy cabin, a roaring fire, and two very tired "Site Managers." 🐕‍🦺💤

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us to get to this point. We’re coming back refreshed and ready for the crane on Tuesday! 🏗️🌿

🐾 Paws for Thought: Road Trip to Aberdeen!

We’ve traded the Magnolia paint fumes for the open road today. The Boss (Beth) decided we were the only ones qualified to give the final "sniff-test" to the new 4-person chamber, so we’re all on our way to Aberdeen for the official factory sign-off!

It’s a long drive, but it’s given us some time to think. People often ask why we’re always by Beth's side. The truth is, building Just Breathe O2 isn’t just a 9-to-5 job—it’s a family mission. Whether it’s negotiating insurance or driving across Scotland to check on a 750kg chamber, we do it together. 🐾🛡️

Our "Paws for Thought" today: The best journeys aren’t just about where you’re going, but who you have in the car with you. We’re nearly at the factory!

I’ve been waiting to open these! ☕✨

As part of our expansion, we aren't just bringing in new tech—we’re creating a sanctuary. I’m so excited to announce that we’ll have some delicious herbal blends available including some from .enchanted.tea.co in our new cafe space.

That’s the day the lorry arrives in Dumfries with our brand-new, 4-person chamber.

This is more than just a piece of equipment; it’s a massive leap forward for health and recovery in our community. 🌿✨

Weekend Mood: Relax & Recharge. ☕🧘‍♀️

We’ve reached a bit of a natural pause this weekend. We’ve done all we can on the suite for now while we wait for the final plumbing work to be completed, so we’re taking the hint from Mack and Ouzo and slowing down. 🐾

After a week of big decisions and logistics, it’s time to fill the cup back up before the final push toward our Grand Opening in March.

Weekend plans:

✨ Plenty of walks.
✨ A few extra treats for the "Site Managers."
✨ Getting ready for our factory trip on Thursday!

Happy Friday, everyone! 🌿✨

It’s been an incredibly productive day here. While the suite is being prepped, our priority remains the same: ensuring our clients continue to receive their vital oxygen sessions without disruption.

I’ve also just come off a brilliant call with the team at O2Works to finalise the logistics for the big move. One of the things that makes me so proud to partner with them is the incredible level of regulation and rigorous testing they carry out. Every single component of our new chamber has been scrutinised to ensure it is as safe as possible for our community. 🛡️💻

A huge note of thanks... I also want to say a massive thank you to Steph and Kev for their incredible help this week—we honestly couldn't do this without support like yours! And to all our wonderful clients who have reached out to offer a hand with the move, the cleaning, or just some words of encouragement: thank you. It truly takes a village (or a very dedicated community!), and you are making this dream a reality.

The Update:

🎨 The first two rooms are fresh and painted!
📞 Logistics are locked in with the engineers.
🏗️ Site prep is moving along as we wait for the final plumbing to be wrapped up.

Mack and Ouzo are officially exhausted from all the "supervising" they've done this week! We’re doing the heavy lifting now so we can all breathe easier in March .
