STAFF TRAINING

Please note that due to staff training throughout East Lothian we will be running at a reduced operating service.

Our Practices at Dunbar Medical Centre will only be able to offer locum GP cover for any on the day emergencies.

There will not be reception teams available to answer calls or deal with walk ins for routine enquiries/test results or appointments.

practices will resume normal service with your own GP on Thursday 12th March 2026 at 8am

Please be aware we are experiencing technical issues within the medial centre. At present all online services including booking appointments and ordering prescriptions are unavailable.

We have reported the matter and working to rectify it. If your matter is urgent please call your practice.

The patient calling believes the phone is ringing however they are not connecting at our end.

We are working with our provider but please remain patient.

From 8:00am Monday 15 December NHS Lothian is taking some urgent precautions to help protect patients and staff against flu this winter.

Visitors are welcome, but please:
✅ As always don’t visit if you’re unwell
✅ Limit visitors to 1–2
✅ Avoid bringing children under 12
✅ Consider wearing a mask and use hand gel
