I started on my journey to retrain as a Perinatal Facilitator with The Daisy Foundation over 4 years ago now…and launched myself into Business teaching antenatal classes in March 2022. In that time I’ve relaunched the business under my own brand, Pebble Perinatal, added baby classes in for a time, and been hosted by lovely spaces in Stenton, Whitekirk Hill and most recently

I’ve had the privilege of meeting and supporting so many new families across the region, many who I now bump into at the school gate, and have loved every minute of it.

But as I approach year 4, after a lot of soul searching, I’ve realised it’s time for me to take a breath and a break, so I can best support my own growing family and me.

So for that reason Pebble Perinatal is going into hibernation for a while. If you were due to, or hoping to take a class with me, I’m so sorry to disappoint (I hate letting people down!), but there are some brilliant people delivering a range of classes locally (including at my current venue Core Dunbar), and I’ve included a list on my website.

If you’ve chosen to share your journey to and through parenthood with me in the last 4 years I am so grateful and feel so lucky.

I hope to be back after some time of considered thought and reflection.

With the weather on the turn, welcoming in colder, shorter days, it's time for Pebble Perinatal to hibernate for 2025.

2025 has been another special year, supporting families as they welcome their beautiful babies into the world. I've also had much joy meeting babies from my first term who are now turning 3 and starting their new adventures into preschool. Where does the time go?! As well as seeing families expand to welcome siblings.

Thank you again for sharing these unique and special times with me. Supporting you on your journeys and knowing that lasting friendships are being made in class is the greatest of priviledges.

And thank you to Jenny at for her beautiful studio space, the home of Pebble Bumps.

Have a wonderful festive season and I look forward to starting 2026 with Pebble Bumps again on the 11 Jan.

A lovely opportunity to support local families..

📣We’re recruiting for Breastfeeding Peer Supporters📣

♥️ Would you like to support local families to breastfeed in the Dunbar Area ?
♥️ Have you received support with breastfeeding and would like to give something back? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for volunteer breastfeeding peer supporters in Dunbar and surrounding areas.

Volunteers will require:
♥️ Minimum 6 months breast-chest feeding experience
♥️ Commitment to training online with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers
♥️ Commitment to volunteering for 1 hour a month for a minimum of 6 months

If you are interested in volunteering please email us and we will send you our application form and information about the role.

Here is lovely news of a new breastfeeding support group for Dunbar. It's so beneficial to be able to get support when you need it, meet other folk and share conversation too.

Exciting News!

We have a new Breastfeeding Support Group starting on Tuesday 4th February.

You'll find us at Royal Mackintosh Hotel, Dunbar on Tuesday’s from 10.30am - 11.30am.

All of our groups are free drop in groups and are run by our trained volunteer breastfeeding peer supporters.

Come and meet other breastfeeding parents and families, get support with breastfeeding, or come and enjoy a cuppa with other families.

All welcome, you do not need to be struggling with breastfeeding to come along.

After a delayed start to 2025 due to some winter bugs classes are back!!

Active antenatal classes start Dunbar next week and classes are live to book online all the way up until the summer.

Come and join me on Sundays for a relaxing end to your week. We'll do some lovely yoga based movement to help you in pregnancy and beyond, breath work, relaxation and conversation.

Today is Kangaroo Care Awareness Day.

Kangaroo care is a method of holding a premature or full term baby skin-to-skin and chest-to-chest, from birth and for a few months after due date.

kangaroo Care was such an important part of our first weeks and months with our premature baby. My husband and I both snuggled our teeny wee baby in next to our hearts. It helped regulate his heart beat and temperature and gain weight.

Skin to skin contact with your baby at any time is an amazing co-regulating and bonding activity.
