Meet Eleanor...

We're introducing you to the second of our patterned petal designs, a collection of four fabrics in our Petal Stories Collection, each named after inspirational women in our lives.

Eleanor is a wonderfully textured ochre looped thread on a soft mauve base, casting the most beautiful light and shadows.

Eleanor Petal is a celebration of creativity and friendship. Check her out sitting alongside beautiful artwork by , who this shade was named after.

Photos taken by for our studio shoot at the brilliant , where all of the beautiful furniture pictured is designed and made.

Meet Anna...

The patterned petals form our Petal Stories Collection: four carefully selected fabrics, each named after inspirational women in our lives.

Anna is a soft but bold floral block print in beautiful, mellow tones.

The Anna Petal is named after Amanda's much-loved family member, who pours equal love into both her craft as a florist and her work in her local community. Keep swiping for a photo of the real Anna with her namesake petal.

Finally getting around to sharing some pictures of my attic bedroom, captured at the end of our Petal lampshade shoot by .

It’s a squeeze under the eaves, but we split the room to turn the most awkward area into a mini walk-in wardrobe (tucked behind the bed wall), which actually makes the rest of the space feel much calmer. And there was still space left for a tiny dressing table and a little ensuite. Vintage bedside tables were finished with worktop offcuts, and I love the deep red vein of these with the linen headboard made by .co.uk.

I still need to add more artwork, but I'm already loving the gorgeous Still Life no. 4 (found on ' brilliantly curated page) that is sitting very pretty on the Beauvais Lilac walls.

So... still general faffing to do, until I declare this room finished...including finding the perfect lamp bases for these lush pleated lampshades from (I'm wondering about a little blue!?). Once I'm done, I'll share some before-and-afters with more details.

Friday round-up... I hope you've all had a good week ❀

2. Lots of site visits this week- love how this family bathroom is coming together πŸ’›πŸ€
3. Prep for the hand-painted lampshade workshop and I are running 26th April and 27th April - DM to book, we'd love to see you there!
4. A photo sent by a lovely client; beautiful shell ceramics by chosen for this bathroom project completed last year 🐚
5. Started a new project...a 1920's family home in Edinburgh 🏠
6. Landscaping around our home office is coming along...wavy paths to offset some tricky angles γ€°
7. Finally got around to updating my website with project photos by the brilliant
8. Spring always has me itching to paint something 😁...I've loved having Inchyra Blue on my front door for the last 6 years, but I think it's time for a change...I've got some ideas... let me know what you think! 😊

We've been blown away by the response to our Petal Lampshade colab andΒ are very excited to see the first petals leaving our workshop and making their way to new homes.

I've been enjoying having these beautiful snake head fritillaries in our house 🐍🏁 left over from our Petal Lampshade petal photoshoot last week... but they're happiest outdoors, so I'm putting them in my garden today and looking forward to a little potter in the sunshine β˜€οΈ

We are so grateful for the time and expertise from with creating all the botanicals for our photoshoot. Sustainability is a big part of and I's ethos for the Petal colab and so using locally sourced plants that could then live on outdoors was a double win β™₯️

With our next round of hand-painted lampshade workshops starting next month, we're busy stock-checking and ensuring we have plenty of beautiful paint colours and interesting materials for our makers to create their lampshade masterpieces!

We hold these events in the fabulous and a delicious lunch from the is included in your ticket price.

You don't need any prior experience for this workshop; we will guide you every step of the way, from planning and painting your paper template to rolling and forming your lampshade.

We're told that this experience makes a lovely Mother's Day gift too! 😊❀️
