Our pregnancy Pilates class on Tuesdays 6.30pm at Core has been running for 11 years now and has been a fabulous support to so many ladies’ pregnancies. After quite a few babies arriving in the last few weeks there are spaces now available. It is low-impact, adaptable exercise with gentle, modified Pilates movements to strengthen the core, back, and pelvic floor muscles. Classes focus on helping mum-to-be improve posture, flexibility, and breathing while helping to relieve common pregnancy aches and pains, and ends with relaxation. Some spaces are still available for restorative yoga on Friday 7th November 6-7pm. Relax, breathe, stretch in a cosy low-lit studio with fairy lights, essential oils, eye pillows ... A chance to relax and release and let go of any tension, stress and anxiety as we sink into some slow, restful, supported yoga poses and switch off from our week with some pranayama (breath work), a long śavāsana (relaxation) with warm lavender scented eye pillows, and a short meditation leaving us rested and restored.
