When your body is tight—whether from pain, stress, or the cold—your mobility shrinks. And you end up forcing movements within a restricted range, which piles extra stress on your joints and muscles.

You can probably imagine the result: chronic tension, injury, and burnout.

When your body and mind are loose, you create freedom and space, which makes every action feel more effortless and fluid.

A friend who is an off-road motorbike instructor once told me:
"I’ve realised that in any situation, your performance is usually better than you imagined when you aren't being too serious."

When you take things too seriously, you physically 'brace' for impact. Your muscles firm up, creating a instant ceiling on your potential.

You might feel powerful in the moment, but that rigidity leads to a heavy toll later on.

The body is connected to the mind. This means that physical tightness is usually just your brain holding on too tight.
Once you ease off "getting it right", your body finally gets the message and relaxes.
By softening up a bit, you don’t just feel better—you actually move and think a whole lot smoother.

What does 'Holistic' mean?

'Holistic' refers to the principle of holism: the theory that parts of a whole are in intimate interconnection, such that they cannot exist or be understood independently of the whole....blah blah blah....😆

Simply put, it means to focus on the WHOLE rather than just the individual part, because everything is connected at some point.

In any kind of therapy, the goal should always be the same: to help you feel better, lighter, and more like yourself.

Whether I am giving a massage, working with brush calligraphy, or offering a psychic reading, I always try to look at the whole picture.

It is very easy to get "stuck" focusing on just one technique or one way of thinking. However, there is a big difference between 'being obsessed with your own skill' and 'being truly proud of how you help others'.

When we focus too much on our own "talent," we often carry fear, pressure, and stress—which OTHERS CAN PICK UP. I have been there myself, and I can tell you, it isn’t a cosy place to be! 😅

Having a holistic view allows me to stay open and curious. It keeps my work honest and my heart calm.

When we look at the 'whole,' we feel less stressed, our relationships grow steadier, and our daily energy stays balanced, because the calmness you get helps you see what matters to you. THIS is a happy&cosy place to be!!

Life isn't actually that tough or complicated.
It’s pretty simple, honest, and full of kindness.

If things start feeling heavy or messy,
take a look at yourself INSTEAD OF your circumstances.

You might find you're the one overcomplicating it or making it too dramatic😊

When you feel overwhelmed,
just find a place or time to reset your mind😉
That's all.

Some might say,
"I don't have time to reset my mind because I'm too busy."

And I would say,
"You always have choices to make, and know that YOU pick one for YOURSELF. Whatever choice you make, there's no wrong one because you will learn something anyway😊"

It took me couple days but I've finally got a chance to sit down and write about my great experience at 'Holistic & Wellbeing Fair' (last Sunday)😄

Let me thank you to all who came to my stall for the mini Shiatsu sessions. It was such a pleasure meeting every single one of you, and you have no idea how great I felt seeing your relaxed face and smile after each session.

'Healing' to me is not only for the body to be free from pain or unpleasant condition, but also to be able to understand what's actually happening to/in your body. Understanding is the first step to healing, I believe.

Using techniques to make changes is not that hard if you are 'professional', but the hardest yet the most important part is to help the clients to understand what's happening to their body and mind. That's HOLISTIC approach and that's what I value the most in my treatment.

Thank you, The Wellbeing Circle CIS for hosting this great event, and also for giving me such a great opportunity!

What a day... ✨

I’m still feeling the energy, love, and openness from my second collaboration event with Solāis Wellness.

While we welcomed a mix of familiar and new faces, one thing remained constant: the pure-hearted kindness of EVERY SINGLE PERSON who walked through the door.

We often say wellness spaces should be "safe," but creating that reality is 'somehow' rare. But Solāis Wellness has its own unique way of guiding people exactly where they need to be.

I felt a wave of emotion myself yesterday. I noticed how many of us carry the weight of the world and everyday life while whispering, "I’m okay, I can do this," and pushing forward.

But seeing the transformation after the head treatment was everything. To see a face go from a little tense (some people had no idea about my massage style😅) to completely "chilled"—almost returning to the innocence of childhood—makes everything I do worthwhile.

In that private space, the walls finally come down.
Thank you to everyone who opened up to me.
My heart has been very full😌

My favourite expression and this is also my all-time reminder in life.

Your body is 100% 'One and Only', so that's why I want you to be able to 'listen to it' all the time. Pain, tightness or any unpleasant symptoms 'seem' like what people around you have/have had, but where it comes from is usually different.

Why?

Because your body and mind are 'One and Only'😉
It's 100% up to you whether it receives TLC 'before' it has to give out signs to you or it's forced to push 'until' it's had 'enough'😌

This is quite a deep and powerful approach to the recovery of physical and mental fatigue body & mind— gentle heat to soften the body and settle the nervous system, followed by precise shiatsu to release the patterns that contribute to tension and fatigue.

✨ Infrared × Hot Stone | with Nook Dunblane | Sunday 22 February

Private infrared therapy to gently warm the body, followed by grounding hot stone massage to ease deep muscular tension and soften the whole system.

✨ Infrared × Shiatsu | with Masami | Saturday 28 February

This session will include a special focus on head and face Shiatsu, ideal for mental fatigue, headaches, tired eyes and releasing built-up stress held through the upper body. It also offers gentle support during hormonal shifts by helping regulate the nervous system and encouraging the body back into balance. Combined with infrared warmth, the mind feels clearer, the body softer, and the system more settled overall.

Both sessions are designed to work with your body, warming, regulating and restoring from the inside out.

The feedback from every collaboration has been incredible, and spaces are intentionally limited to keep the experience calm, private and unhurried.
