Some exciting news! I’ve teamed up with the very lovely on a special new project. We have both long wanted to find a way of raising money for the Dundee & Angus Food Bank and we felt that in the current economic climate, we needed to get our skates on. We spent a few weeks coming up with various rubbish ideas and then the clouds parted and it all became clear, we should have a cushion sale! Our mutual love of cushions has bonded us together like two peas in a fabric pod…..obviously it’s our duty to spread the cushion love. After more head scratching over what to call our sale, we finally we have it……..drum roll please……..THE BIG CUSHION PUSH!
The sale will take place on Saturday 10th December, 11am-5pm at Logie & St John’s Church Hall on Shaftesbury Terrace in the West End. We’ll be selling new and second-hand cushions, along with some beautiful fabric remnants which can be used to make cushions. 100% of the proceeds will go to D&A Food Bank. We will also have donation buckets just in case we can’t tempt you to buy a cushion.
Donations have already been coming in from local shops and curtains makers across Scotland. WE NOW NEED YOU!! We would like to ask you if you might consider donating any cushions that you might have at home and no longer use. All sizes and shapes welcome 😊, we would only ask that they are in a good saleable condition please. has kindly offered to act as a drop off point, so please pop in there with your donations. We need lots of cushions to raise lots of money so please take some time to have a look around your home and see what you might be able to part with. Your donations will be putting food on tables this winter.
Terian and I will also be loitering around on the day so please come and pester us if you have any interior design dilemmas you might need help with.
