Watching the latest series of Bridgerton. I am so invested in Francesca reaching her “pinnacle”. I was never a huge fan of Benedict, but, this series I am clutching my pearls (not a euphemism), swooning and promenading alongside the fans. Wow! What a story, what champagne casting! I’m so invested!!!!! Are you guys watching this? Modern day issues set in an Austen backdrop, does life get better than this? X###x

Coming up to a difficult time of year for so many. Enforced jollity and over the top enthusiasm can make many people feel really isolated. Not everyone has pleasant childhood memories of Halloween, Guy Fawkes or Christmas. Trauma and bereavement can exacerbate a feeling of otherness. Be kind, be compassionate, be mindful. Enjoy your experience but don’t force others into pretending to feel the same way. Empathy people, empathy. 🩷💖💜
