🌿👩‍💻 Family Club STEAM Day 👩‍💻🌿

Thank you so much to everyone who attended our STEAM Learning Day as part of our Family Club programme. We had over 100 at the event 🤩

A very special thank you to our activity leaders - Rachel and MJ from , Shamshad (local scientist and family club legend), Houda (engineer & coding superstar!), and David from (soil scientist and climate hero).

Families had the opportunity to make stickers and holographic projectors, play with bouncing bubbles, learn about soil erosion, play in the mud, plant their own terrariums, look at bug specimens and try coding a robot. There were also a wide range of toys and craft materials available to take home to continue the fun - all donated and creatively recycled by the team here at ScrapAntics.

If you'd like to be a part of our family club mailing group to find out more about exciting FREE events like this, get in touch!

Women's Wednesday runs every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm in our Community Space on Level 2 of the Wellgate Shopping Centre. If you'd like to get involved drop in or email to get more information.
