For some families and individuals, burying or interring ashes may not feel like the right choice - whether for personal, cultural, or practical reasons. Instead, many people find comfort in keeping their loved one’s ashes in an above-ground memorial.

Our sanctums offer a gentle alternative and can be:
🌿 Positioned within a peaceful memorial garden
🕊️ A dedicated space to visit, sit, and reflect
🤍 A way to keep your loved one close and easily accessible

They also provide flexibility for the future, as ashes can be retrieved if circumstances change or if you move to a new location.

Whatever feels right for you, we’re here to support you 💛

This Earth Day, we’re reflecting on the connection between life, memory and the natural world 🌿

At the heart of what we do is a deep respect for nature and the role it plays in remembrance. Many of the spaces we help create are designed to grow and flourish over time, just as memories do.

As we mark Earth Day, we’re reminded that caring for the planet is also a way of honouring those we love. From sustainable choices to peaceful natural spaces, every small step helps create a greener future for generations to come 💚

Always in my heart 🤍

Designed to be comforting to hold, the wooden heart keepsake's smooth, tactile shape makes it something you can reach for whenever you want to feel close to your loved one.

Magnetically sealed, it opens to hold tiny photographs, along with a discreet internal phial for a small token of ashes.

Each keepsake can be personalised with an engraved inscription and artwork, creating a truly meaningful tribute that’s yours to hold, whenever you need it.

If you'd like more information just let us know and we'll support you however we can.

A simple cremation can still be honoured with a lasting tribute 💛

What is a Direct Cremation?
A direct cremation is a simple, unattended cremation without a formal service at the time, offering families flexibility to remember their loved one in their own way.

Memorials
Even without a traditional service, there are many meaningful ways to create a tribute, if that feels right for you. From beautiful memorial gardens within our grounds, to personalised plaques and jewellery, as well as urns and keepsakes to cherish at home.

Here to Help
If a loved one had a direct cremation, whether recently, some time ago, or in a different location you can still arrange a meaningful memorial if you wish.

If you have any questions, or would like to explore options, don't hesitate to contact us 🤍

We often talk about our memorial gardens - they are one of many meaningful forms of memorial here at the crematorium. A great deal of care goes into creating each one, ensuring it is special, unique and a true reflection of the person it honours 🌹

This guide offers an overview of how we build the gardens, along with the different elements available to help make each space deeply personal.

As we move further into spring, we’ll be outside even more, sharing details about our memorial gardens over the coming days and weeks.

If you have any questions about the gardens or our other memorials, don't hesitate to comment below or contact us directly - we're here to help 🤍
