I know many of us (including myself) are carrying grief right now-loss, change, heartache that can feel relentless and overwhelming, even though it's natural.
This afternoon I gave myself permission to pause. To step outside, feel the warmth of the sunshine on my face, breathe in nature's quiet healing. Grief needs space-and so do we. Rest, recovery and small moments of light relief are not avoidance-they're necessary.
In my local park, I let my inner child take over for a while-a simple swing when no-one was looking, a hug from a tree, looking at spring flowers pushing through the earth. And for a moment, my heart felt a little bit lighter.
If your grieving a loss, let my post be a reminder: it's okay to take a break. ☀️🌼🌱
