Today we enjoyed a music quiz, reminiscing pictures and a trivia. 💭💬

Turned into a sing along and us talking about prices of what… sugar, gas, coffee etc all used to be. 🥰
It’s amazing seeing the residents remembering when they were young ones “back in the day” as they said 🤭

The residents have been busy bees today… 🥰 they have helped me make a Fun Board in the home for them to come and pick activities whenever they please, such as word searches, crosswords and more. They also decided on the name for the board

Inbetween we also had a shot on the swings while picking our leaves as our theme for the now is autumn 🍂
And we enjoyed a shot with the parachute today also. 🧡

We’re looking for big hearts and bright smiles – is that you?

Henderson House Care Home is opening its doors for a Career Open Day on Thursday, 11th September, 11:00am – 3:00pm – and we would love you to join us.

We are currently looking for Care Assistants, Trainee Care Assistants (no experience needed – full training given), a Night Nurse and a Domestic Assistant.

Come along on the day and enjoy a guaranteed interview (first come, first served), meet our brilliant team, have a look around the home and find out what makes Henderson House such a great place to work. You will also discover the training, career development opportunities and staff perks we offer.

Today we held a Hawaiian tea dance as one of our monthly events , and also we had to say goodbye to Hannah who made Henderson House shine that little bit brighter, she is going to be missed by all, ❤️ we had a various music selection today and everyone seemed to have an absolute ball and thanks to Mike our tea dance DJ 🎶 and we look forward to next months tea dance 💃 ☮️ ✌🏼
