Everyone deserves good mental health, and that includes men. ๐Ÿ’œ

This month weโ€™re sharing stories from men who have been through difficult times โ€“ what they learned, who they turned to and how they keep on going.

If youโ€™re struggling, please remember that you are not alone.

If you, or someone you know is finding life tough, these brilliant charities help. ๐Ÿ’œ

It was great welcoming back regular guests and seeing new faces for lunch last Thursday! Cosy Crafts had people knitting, learning crochet, painting, colouring - if your craft is portable you're welcome to bring it along!

Did you know that every Tuesday we serve lunch to our volunteers? This week we will also also be cooking on the Wednesday - seasonal soup & carrot top pesto are on the menu.

The Pantry are pleased to announce that our next session of Thrift & Thrive will take place on Wednesday 19th November at the slightly earlier time of 1p to 3pm. Our last session was very popular and we are expecting to be even busier this time so we have updated guidelines to follow to ensure the health and safety and fairness to all of our customers, volunteers and staff.
Twenty customers will gain access to the hall at a time and each adult will be given ten tokens. These tokens can be swapped for ten items for ยฃ1.00 donation per item. Customers must then leave the hall to allow another customer to enter. If you wish to shop again you may rejoin the back of the queue.
We cannot lay aside or mind items whilst you shop and no refunds will be offered. You do not need to be a Pantry member to shop as this session is open to all.
All money raised will be used to purchase toys and food for our Pantry Christmas session. We would like to thank everyone who has donated items for this event.

โฐ Clocks go back this weekend โ€“ and as the nights draw in, some of us may start to feel the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

SAD is a type of depression that often begins in autumn and can make you feel low, tired, and less motivated.

๐ŸŒž Top tips to boost your mood:
โœ” Get outside during daylight hours
โœ” Stay active โ€“ even a short walk helps
โœ” Keep connected with friends and family
โœ” Explore self-help resources and support
