🎉 Long Service Award 15 Years at TBC Conversions

Congratulations to Wesley on celebrating 15 years with TBC Conversions.

Over this time, Wesley has played an important role in the development of our vehicle conversions. With a strong rally background and extensive technical knowledge, he has moved into a Team Lead role within production. His experience and attention to detail continue to play a key role in maintaining the high standards within production.

Recent conversion of a 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗸𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗪𝗕 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝘃𝗮𝗻 by our specialist division.

Conversion specification includes:
◾Ring TruckMaster Low Profile amber LED 920mm wide clear lens EC Reg 65 approved lightbar installed on roof of vehicle controlled by switch in driver’s cabin.
◾Outward facing low profile LED work lights installed on the roof of the vehicle, controlled by a switch on the dash.
◾LED Interior light installed along either side of ceiling
◾Flush mounted 12V power supply installed in crew area. 4no total USB ports
◾Durite amber strobe hazard warning lights installed on front grille of vehicle controlled by switch in drivers cabin area. Strobes with synchronised flash patterns.
◾Window holes cut and tinted fixed glass installed in LH sliding door.
◾Window hole cut and half slider glass installed in RH front panel. (tinted)
◾Forced air/low extract low profile manual roof ventilator installed on vehicle.
◾Straight steel box section bulkhead installed in rear of vehicle to create crew area, from 'C' pillar at sliding door to opposite panel, plylined with 6mm plywood. All joints sealed.
◾Existing front factory bullhead removed from vehicle, cut in half, and installed back in vehicle
◾Walls & ceiling of crew area insulated with rock wool.
◾Ceiling in crew area and walls and door panel ply lined with 6mm plywood, wheel arch boxes constructed from 12mm regatex plywood. All joints sealed and black plastic step edging installed at side and rear entrance doors.
◾Rear cargo area lined with solid 6 mm pvc-rear compartment sealed and fully waterproof.
◾Folding table installed in front of crew seats secured to bulkhead and finished with black vinyl top
◾Ply lined side walls, door panels, rear bulkhead, and ceiling in rear crew area of vehicle trimmed with velour.
◾Forward facing single Blenheim Draco HB seats (425mm Wide) secured to floor with 300mm fixed legs
◾Independent Engineers Report Supplied for Crew van (Seats/Bulkhead) or Taxi conversion.

We’re delighted to welcome John Couppleditch to TBC Conversions as Regional Sales Manager for England and Wales.

John brings over 15 years of experience in the minibus sector, working across a wide range of industries including education, community transport and fleet. His knowledge of product development, leasing and compliance adds real strength to our growing team.

As we continue to expand across the UK and Ireland, John will be supporting both our minibus and wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) ranges, helping customers find the right solutions for their needs.
