An anxious mind can feel loud — racing thoughts, endless “what ifs”, the constant pull of worry.

But anxiety doesn’t define you.

But though panic feels overwhelming, it is not dangerous.
It’s your body’s alarm system going into overdrive.

Trauma can linger — not just in memories, but in the body.

Flashbacks, nightmares, hypervigilance… all are signs that your brain is still holding the
experience as if it is happening now.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) works by helping the brain process these memories differently.

Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR reduces the emotional charge of traumatic memories.

You don’t erase the past — but you release its power over the present.

OCD isn’t just about being neat or organised.

It’s a cycle of unwanted intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviours (compulsions) used to reduce the anxiety they cause.

For example:

🔄 Obsession: “What if I left the door unlocked?”
🔄 Compulsion: Checking the lock again and again to feel safe.

CBT can help break this cycle by:

✨ Challenging intrusive thoughts.
✨ Reducing compulsions gradually in safe, supported ways.
✨ Building confidence in tolerating uncertainty.

OCD does not define you. With support, freedom is possible.
