Yesterday marked the start of the Women Breaking Barriers program — and what a beautiful morning it was 💛

Seven amazing ladies joined me as we took some time out for ourselves — chatting about healthcare and self-care practices, exploring our life wheel to see where balance might be needed, and sharing some simple but powerful wellbeing tips.

We also started shaping a gentle morning routine to help us set the tone for our days, talked about bringing grounding practices into our lives, and of course, enjoyed a good cuppa and plenty of lovely conversation along the way ☕💬

It was such a warm, open, and uplifting start to this journey together — I can’t wait to see where the next few weeks take us 🌿✨

Gorgeous energy in the room for Day 1 of ‘Breaking Inner Barriers’ in Dungannon-Change begins with us!
This is a personal and transformative programme that supports each woman pursue her own pathway.

Are you the CEO of your own life?
So often, we blame external factors for where we are, but the truth is — it all comes down to us.

We have complete control over how we respond to any situation. Here’s something fascinating: emotions like anger or upset only last about 90 seconds in the body. That’s how long the chemical reaction stays active. After that, we choose whether to hold onto it or let it go.

When you really think about it, life is about choices. We get to decide how we feel, how we show up, and what we want to create.

I was reminded of this listening to one of my favourite podcasts by Rob Dial — he’s absolutely brilliant. His words always remind me of something I already know deep down: take responsibility.

If something goes wrong, I put my hand up. Even if someone’s actions hurt me, I ask myself, “Why did I allow myself in that situation?” Not to be harsh on myself — but to stay accountable. Because when we take ownership, we reclaim our power.

That’s when we start living as the true CEO of our own life.

✨ I’d love to know, what do you think?
Do you feel like the CEO of your own life right now, or do you blame external factors?

I was at the Mums at Work Network in Belfast today, and honestly, I find these meetups really good for my business. They’re such a lovely way to connect with other women who are self-employed, share stories, and support one another. I’ve even been lucky enough to get work through attending them, which is amazing 🙌

Listening to everyone speak today really got me thinking. I realised that I’m probably not always practising what I preach — I’m busy, constantly juggling different parts of my business, and not giving myself much downtime. When you work for yourself, your brain doesn’t switch off, does it? There’s always that voice saying, “What else can I do?”

One thing that really stood out for me today was around working hours. I don’t work a 9–5 — and that’s the joy of being self-employed — but sometimes I still feel guilty for not doing those “traditional” hours, even though I’m probably busier than if I did! It was such a good reminder that we get to design our own days and success doesn’t have to fit a set schedule.

We also had such an empowering conversation about our menstrual cycles, which I loved! A room full of women openly learning and sharing about something so important — it really tied in beautifully with my connection to Changing Cycles and how powerful it is to understand and honour our own natural rhythms, in both life and business 💫

Success is such a personal thing, isn’t it? It looks different for everyone.

We live in a world that often tells us what success should look like — money, job titles, status, followers. But I’ve realised that true success is something we each get to define for ourselves.

For some, it might be financial freedom or reaching big career goals, and that’s perfectly okay. But for me, success feels much more personal. It’s about growth — gently stretching myself closer to my dreams, building real connections with people who lift me up, and knowing that maybe, in some small way, I’ve made a difference by sharing kindness and love.

I don’t see success as a final destination either. It’s more like a journey — one that’s joyful, messy, full of lessons, and always evolving. The more I grow and learn, the more my idea of success shifts too… and I think that’s a good thing. It means I’m still learning, still becoming.

What does success mean to you? I’d really love to hear your thoughts. x

🌿 Mindfulness & Wellbeing with the Staff at St. Patrick’s College 🌿

Thank you so much to the wonderful team at St. Patrick’s College for inviting me in for a mindful wellbeing session. 💚

It was such a lovely, relaxing hour of slowing down, reconnecting, and taking a few deep breaths together. I hope everyone left feeling a little more grounded — with some simple mindfulness tools to weave into their classrooms and their daily lives.

Small pauses really do make the biggest difference.✨️

A Heart-Filled Evening at GrowNI 💛

This evening, I had the absolute pleasure of delivering a mindfulness and well-being session to the inspiring women who are part of GrowNI.

Supporting women to learn practical tools and techniques they can begin to implement in their daily lives is truly at the heart of what I do — helping to create more calm, clarity, and confidence from within.

A huge thank you to Niamh for the opportunity and trust in bringing me in. I really hope it’s not the last time I have the chance to work with this wonderful group.

The setting made the evening even more special — the beautiful mills in Belfast, full of history and character, provided the perfect backdrop for such a positive and uplifting session.

Heading home with a full and grateful heart 🤍✨

If your organisation or women’s group would like to host a mindfulness or well-being session, I’d love to connect.
