I thought this one deserved a spot on the grid….
The festive season can bring joy, connection and excitement but it can also bring pressure, comparison, family dynamics, financial strain and expectations that feel impossible to meet.
If you’re noticing stress rising in your body, here are a few gentle reminders:
• You’re allowed to say no to what drains you.
• You’re allowed to step back from traditions that no longer feel supportive.
• You’re allowed to create a calmer, slower version of Christmas that works for you.
• You’re allowed to prioritise your emotional safety over anyone’s expectations.
Slowing down, protecting your peace and choosing what feels manageable is not selfish it’s self respect.
