Dungiven Family Practice will be carrying out its Autumn Covid and Flu clinic on Wednesday 15th October. Only those people who have received letters for either Covid or Flu or both should attend the Practice. It is very important that you bring your letter with you as this is required for administrative purposes. If you have not received a letter of invitation and you believe that you are entitled to either covid or Flu or both vaccinations, please contact the Practice for confirmation. If you are unable to attend on this date, please consult with your local pharmacy for alternative dates. Please do not attend the Practice if you are feeling poorly or displaying symptoms of either Covid or Flu.

For those who will be attending the Practice tomorrow for Covid/Flu vaccinations, can we please ask that you arrive at your allocated time, please wear appropriate clothing which will allow easy access to bare arms, this will allow us to have everyone in and out more quickly and avoid unnecessary waiting times. Please ensure to bring your appointment letter with you also. Finally can we also ask if you are able to arrive by foot, that you do so as there is limited parking space at the health centre.

Dungiven Family Practice has provisionally organised a date for the Autumn Flu and Covid vaccinations which we hope will be on Wednesday 16th October. All those who are entitled to receive one or both of the vaccinations will be notified by letter, it is extremely important that you bring this letter to your appointment.
Please note that if you do not receive a letter and believe that you should be receiving one or both vaccinations, please contact the Practice in the normal way. Please attend punctually and at the time stated on your letter.

Please note that due to unforseen circumstances, the level of GP cover at Dungiven Family Practice will be significantly reduced for approx five weeks beginning Monday 15th July. Patients should only contact the Practice if they have an urgent issue which they believe needs to be seen by a GP. We sincerely apologise to everyone but please note these circumstances are beyond our control. Normal services will resume again at the beginning of September. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

**Reminder**
Car park outside the Health Centre is for the use of patients and staff ONLY. It is NOT a public car park. The car park closes at 6.30pm each day.
Please do not park here to use public transport etc. Theses spaces are needed for patients attending the Health Centre.

Barrier being installed Monday 27th of May.

There will be NO disruption to the accessing of the recycling centre as the barrier will be directly adjacent to the Health Centre car park.

**IMPORTANT**
Please note that from Monday 27th of May a barrier is being installed in our car park. This is to prevent vehicles being parked here by people who are NOT attending the health centre.

The car park is for use for PATIENTS and STAFF only.

Many of our patients attending appointments in the health centre cannot get a parking space outside as they are being occupied by vehicles not authorised to park here.

The barrier will be closed at 6pm every evening and will not open until 8.30am. It will be closed from 6pm on Friday evenings until 8.30am on Monday mornings.

Over 75 Spring Covid Booster Vaccination

Please note that the vaccination will be administered on Wednesday 15th and not Tuesday 15th as stated in the letters sent out to those over 75. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Please note that due to essential maintenance works our telephones ☎️ and computers 🖥 will not be operational between 3.00pm and 4.30pm today, I.e., 24th April

We would like to advise all patients attending the Practice today of current disruption to parking outside the health centre. We have been aware of parking difficulties for some time now and we are actively working with the Western Trust to implement measures to ease the problems. We are grateful for your continued cooperation and patience while this work is completed.
