💛World Mental Health Day💛

Healing isn’t just physical, it’s mental, emotional and everything else in between. Some days I’m smashing my kneehab and other days I just cry. The loss of sport, my social life and then to be told I had to go in for a second surgery when I felt like I had followed my kneehab step by step honestly broke my heart all over again. ❤️‍🩹

Let’s check in on ourselves and each other today. Healing takes time, not just on Mental Health Day, but every day

A month that went from 0 to 100

👉🏼 Made my return to uni for round 2 📚

👉🏼 Went back under for manipulation of my knee due to a build up of scar tissue 💉🦵🏼

👉🏼 Busy with UUM Camogie Committee duties

👉🏼 Enjoyed plenty of Championship football

👉🏼 Refereed at an U8 GO Games in Owenbeg

👉🏼 Had a strange revelation that wrapping a band around my leg helps with pin during rehab 🤔

👉🏼 Enjoyed some well needed nights out for dinner and some bingo loco 🕺🏻

A busy month ahead with sports, studies and work. Hopefully I’ll be able to be more active on here 💀
