My parents divorced when I was 5.

At school I couldn’t even get 3 out of 10 in spelling tests.
I left school with not one GCSE.

By most measures… I probably shouldn’t have done very well.

Yet here I am.

Married 30 years.
Two amazing lads.
Built several businesses.
Built a property portfolio.

And now I spend my time helping people reconnect with themselves at Torus Tree.

Over the years I’ve realised something.

School measures compliance.
Life rewards courage.

Our 12 Journeys breathwork programme starts this week in Dunkeld, and there are still a few spaces available.

This work goes beyond relaxation. It helps the body and nervous system release stored stress, emotional weight, and old patterns that talking alone often doesn shift.

People regularly tell us they leave sessions feeling:

• lighter
• calmer and more present
• sleeping more deeply
• breathing more freely
• clearer in their thinking

Some describe it as one of the most powerful experiences they’ve had.

The programme is 12 guided journeys split into 3 blocks of 4 sessions, and you can start with any block.

Blocks starting this week:

Mon – Block 2 | 6:30pm
Tue – Block 1 | 6:30pm
Wed – Block 3 | 6:30pm

Small groups. Fully guided. A safe and supportive space to release what the body has been holding.

What a day in Perth.

Massive thank you to everyone who came along to our Letting Go & Moving On Signature 9D Breathwork journey today.

The energy in the room was something special.
You could feel people arriving with a lot on their shoulders… and leaving a lot lighter.

That’s the real work.

Not the talking about change.
Actually doing the work to release what’s been sitting in the body for years.

Sadie and I always feel honoured to hold the space when people are brave enough to show up like that.

Also a big thank you to Mark for sharing his feedback straight after the session on video.
It takes courage to speak honestly about how something affects you, and it helps others understand what these sessions are really about.

Relief first.
Transformation second.

“I get stressed by not being stressed.”

That’s something I said this week after week 4 of our 9D Breathwork block.

When your nervous system finally starts to calm down… it can feel strange.

Most of us have spent years running on adrenaline.
Always busy. Always reacting. Always pushing.

So when the body finally relaxes, the brain almost goes…

“Hang on… something must be wrong.”

But nothing’s wrong.

Your system is just remembering how to regulate again.

This week we finished another set of blocks and hearing people share how they feel compared to week one was powerful.

Calmer.
Clearer.
More present.

That’s why we do this work.

All blocks finish this week and the next round starts again next week in Dunkeld.

Most people don’t need fixing.
Their nervous system just needs to slow down.

When life has been stressful for a long time, the body adapts.

You stay slightly “on” all the time.

• shallow breathing
• tight shoulders
• racing thoughts
• poor sleep

It’s not weakness.
It’s survival mode.

The problem is… healing can’t happen when the body thinks it’s under threat.

The fastest way to change that isn’t more thinking.

It’s breathing.

Slow breath.
Longer exhales.
Rhythm.

Those signals tell the nervous system:

“You’re safe now.”

Do that often enough and the body recalibrates.

That’s why breathwork can shift more in one session than months of trying to think your way out of stress.

Simple.

Your body already knows how to heal.
Sometimes it just needs the right signal.
