Still struggling with anterior knee pain? Then try this Spanish squat to a bench!
• Vertical shins = less pressure. This reduces load on the patellofemoral joint and helps the kneecap track more comfortably.
• Better knee alignment. Sitting back to the bench encourages your knees to track in line with your toes, reducing inward collapse.
• Quad strength without irritation. You can load the quads effectively without the deep knee angles that usually flare pain.
• More stability and confidence. The bench provides support so you can relearn the movement without fear or guarding
