This afternoon, the Easter Bunny made a special visit to Ardnahein, handing out lovely Easter gift bags to all of our residents 🐰🐣

A wonderful surprise that brought lots of smiles and joy to everyone! 💛

This afternoon we enjoyed a beautiful three-course Easter Sunday meal, prepared by our chef Allan.

The options were:

Starters
Homemade lamb liver pâté with salad, oatcakes, and red onion chutney
Sweet potato and pepper soup with bread
Creamy garlic mushrooms with a chive crostini

Mains
Lamb hot pot pie with mash and Brussels sprouts
Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, Brussels sprouts, roast potatoes, and red wine gravy
Chicken Balmoral with crushed herbed baby potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and whisky sauce

Desserts
Blood orange sorbet
Crème Egg cheesecake
Mini Egg loaded fudgy chocolate brownie

A truly fantastic meal enjoyed by all 🐣🍽️

This morning some of our ladies got to work creating beautiful bouquet centrepieces for our Easter Sunday lunch and coffee afternoon.

They did a fantastic job – we’re so proud of them! 🌸💐

February was a jam-packed month, with loads of birthdays to celebrate, themed days including Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year and Pancake Day both falling on the same day this year. We also enjoyed visits to and from Patchwork, and even had some ice skating thrown into the mix too!
