If you're heading outdoors, please remember to be tick aware and seek medical attention if you find an EM rash (erythema migrans) or feel unwell following a tick bite.

Please be aware that early treatment of acute is crucial to prevent long term symptoms. Not everyone who contracts Lyme disease gets a rash, but if you do notice one:
- Take a photo of the rash in case you need to send to your GP via email or show it on Skype
- Contact your GP and explain that you may been bitten by an infected tick and would like to be assessed for acute Lyme disease without delay.
