We will be serving food from 12.45 - 2.00 and closing at 3.00pm

We have a big Lucy-shaped hole in the team now so, while we get used to taking on new roles, we will be sticking with a simpler menu.
If you could pre-order by midday on Monday that would also make things easier.

Good morning - just a reminder that we’re closed for half term tomorrow 17th February.

We will be closed on the 17th February for half term.

To save buying and wasting lots of food, we’re going for a much simpler menu and asked Lucy to choose her favourites.

It has to be Eton Mess!
Strawberries, cream and meringue. A taste of summer in the midst of all this wet grey weather.

There was definitely a competitive edge to Peach Melba trifle making today - with Rob and Jimmy both trying to squeeze in as much custard and cream as they could!
The desserts got a big thumbs up from our customers - shall we let them loose on Black Forest trifles next week?

Hi - before I head to the shops I just wondered if we could get a rough idea of numbers for tomorrow as we know quite a few people are away, unwell or wary of the weather ☹️
We need to do a post Christmas restock of lots of things - don’t want to buy too much and waste food but also need to have enough for everyone planning to come!
