There is currently an outbreak of meningococcal disease (MenB) in Kent. This blog post includes information on MenB and this outbreak, what to do if you are affected and where you can get antibiotics and who is being offered a vaccine.

Grove View Health Hub still does not have running water, therefore we will be running a telephone clinic for those patients who need us today as the building does not meet regulations. Central Bedfordshire Council are still working on resolving the problem.

We would like to wish you a happy festive period and a very happy New Year.
From January, our appointment system is changing to improve access and reduce waiting times. Patients will be able to book appointments in person at reception by phone or online.
We will be running sit and wait clinics Monday to Friday 930am till 1130am and 130pm till 3:30 pm where patients can be seen by a GP or nurse on the same day.
On the day GP appointments will be released at 8 am and 1 pm with limited pre-book in line with NHS guidance to move towards more same day GP access.
Nurse appointments will remain people a couple as normal.
We look forward to continuing to be there for you in 2026, supporting you and your family, when you need us most.

Due to Doctor Strikes, we are now fully booked for our routine doctor appointments for November. As we are unsure whether there will be further strikes in December, all appointments for Doctors in December will be released on the day at 8am and 1pm along with our sit and wait clinic in the mornings at 9:30am. We hope in January we will back to our normal booking system.
