During the week commencing Monday 19th January 2026, our team will be removing the wreaths and any Christmas items from the grounds.

Each year, a lovely lady from the community collects many of the wreaths and reuses the decorations for her community classes, which is always great to see items being reused.

If there’s anything on your garden that you’d like to keep, please can you ensure they are collected by Sunday 18th January 2026

As we move into the New Year, we would like to share that Phase 2 of our project around The Lake is beginning. This phase is focused on gently enhancing the lakeside area, with the hope of creating a more colourful, peaceful and comforting environment throughout the Spring and Summer months.

During recent maintenance work, we carefully identified several suitable areas along the lakeside where water pedestals may be placed, should families wish to consider them.

If you would like to find out more about the water pedestals, either for current arrangements or for future planning, please feel free to contact us on 01388 722606 to arrange a quiet, private appointment at a time that suits you. For those who may find weekday appointments difficult, we will also be available by appointment on Saturday 10th or Saturday 17th January 2026.

Please know that there is no obligation, and we are here to offer support, guidance and information whenever you feel ready.

We are pleased to let you know that we have raised £110 through donations to hang a bauble on our Memorial Christmas Tree. The money has been transferred to this years nominated charity “Bringing Back a Smile”. Thank you to everyone who donated

The Crematorium will close at 3.00pm on Christmas Eve and reopen at 8.00am on Monday 29th December.

Please feel free to pop in before we close to write a bauble to hang on our Christmas Tree.

During this period, the main gate will be locked however, the pedestrian gate will remain accessible 24/7.

We would like to wish all of our friends, families and colleagues a Merry Christmas and our thoughts are with you all over this festive season.
