John passed away at home on 14th January, aged 56 years. A devoted husband of Adele, a much loved dad and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.

Funeral service to take place at
Durham Crematorium on Tuesday 17th February at 10.30am.

Family flowers only please, donations for Macmillan Nurses may be given after the service.

All welcome for refreshments at The Rams Head, Langley Park afterwards.

Philip passed away on 10th January,
aged 49 years.

Much loved son, devoted dad, cherished brother,
dear uncle, loving granda and friend to many.
He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

In Loving Memory of Paul Smith
(of Brandon)

Paul passed away tragically on 10th January, aged 60 years.
Beloved son of the late Joan and Edward, dear brother of the late Edward and brother-in-law of the late Barbara, a cherished uncle of Vicky and Dave and Claire and Paul and a special great-uncle.

Paul was a treasured member of The Orchards family and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Monday 9th February at 3pm.

Donation in lieu of flowers may be given after the service to be shared between Dementia UK and Cancer Research UK.

Friends are welcome for refreshments at The Orchards afterwards.

Diane passed away peacefully on 13th January, aged 78 years.

Dearly loved wife of Dave, much loved mam of Sue, Colin and the late Johanna, treasured Nan of Macaulay, Hannah, Kim and Kieran.
A dear sister, great-nan and step-mam.
Diane will be greatly missed.

Funeral service to take place at Durham Crematorium on Friday 6th February at 10.30am

In Loving Memory of Mark Philip Turnbull

Mark passed away suddenly on 10th January, aged 44 years.

Dearly loved son of Philip and Jean, much loved dad to Jordanna and Mark, loving grandad to Alyssa & Ellis, a cherished brother of Lisa, dear uncle to Rebecca and great-uncle to Deven and Ollie.

Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday 4th February 2026 at 2.00pm

Donation in memory of Mark may be given after the service for CRY.

Friends are welcome to The Rams Head, Langley Park to raise a pint to Mark on his final journey.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Raymond passed away on 8th January, aged 77 years.
A devoted husband of Christine, much loved dad of Beverley, father-in-law of John, and a dear grandad to Sean and Hana, great-grandad to Theo and brother of John.

Funeral service to take place at St. Giles' Church, Gilesgate on Tuesday 27th January at 2.45pm followed by cremation at Durham.

Oswin passed away on 23rd December, aged 63 years.
Dearly loved son of the late Oswin and Joan Towns, cherished brother of Christina, Pauline and the late Stephen, much loved brother-in-law of Claire, loving uncle of Gemma, Stuart, Caitlin, Annabelle and Oliver, and cousin of Elizabeth, David, Kate and James.

He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.

Friends please meet for Requiem Mass in St Michael’s RC Church, Esh Laude on Friday 23rd January at 11:00am.

Donations may be given after the service for the British Heart Foundation.

He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
