It was a brilliant evening bringing everyone together. Great food, an amazing band and plenty of fun captured on the 360° camera.

Highlights included hearing directly from our Chairman Harry about his remarkable career journey that led to the creation of Banks Group, a true inspiration 👏

🌿🐣 Families invited to explore, create and reimagine Mount Oswald this Easter…

Banks Group is supporting Playful Paths – a series of free outdoor events encouraging families and residents to explore the green spaces around The Story in Durham.

Led by local artist Nocciola The Drawer, the sessions will combine nature, creativity and adventure, with interactive trails and activities designed to spark ideas for the future of the space.

We’re proud to share that Banks Property has been shortlisted for Property Deal of the Year at the Insider North East Property Awards 2026 for the Kingston Village site sale.

This recognition marks a defining moment for the project. Over a number of years, Kingston Village has progressed from a strategic land opportunity into a major residential scheme that will help shape the future of the area.

Spanning 49 hectares to the west of Newcastle, the site has now been brought forward for development, delivering over 800 new homes, including affordable housing, new community spaces and significant regional investment.

Reaching this stage has required long-term thinking, strong partnerships and a shared ambition to deliver something that will have a lasting impact.

We’re delighted to see the project recognised at this level and look forward to celebrating with peers from across the industry.

Banks Property has submitted a planning application to North Yorkshire Council for a proposed residential development in Hunmanby near Filey.

The plans would see up to 125 homes delivered on a five-hectare site west of Muston Road, including 15% affordable housing and a biodiversity net gain of at least 10%.

The development would feature a mix of homes designed to meet local needs, alongside new public open space and green corridors.

A community consultation event was held in December to introduce the proposals to local residents and gather feedback, which has helped shape the plans now submitted.

The application is expected to be considered by North Yorkshire Council later this year and, if approved, work on site could begin in spring 2028.

We’re incredibly proud to support Shincliffe Juniors Football Club U8s this season. ⚽

It’s been fantastic to see the boys develop their skills, enjoy their football and represent the club so well — and even better to see them crowned Division Champions in the Russell Foster Youth League this weekend after 22 games of determination and teamwork.

Congratulations to the whole team, coaches and families. A brilliant achievement and a special memory for the boys to share with their friends. 🏆
