Salus Medical provides advanced medical training across the North East, whilst also delivering professional event medical cover throughout the North East and nationwide, with staff ranging from first responders to qualified paramedics. Our Instructors, are highly qualified Paramedics and Combat Medical technicians, have many years experience in front line emergency medical care and all have recognized teaching qualifications. Salus Medical is an addition to Salus First Aid Training. We can also supply Medics, First Responders and First Aiders to support many different events.

At Salus, we’re honoured to once again support the Durham Easter Egg Run, a truly heart warming North East tradition 🐰💙

Each Easter Sunday, hundreds of bikers from across the region come together in a spectacular convoy to deliver Easter eggs to children’s hospital wards, raising smiles and spreading joy throughout Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham.

Last year alone, over 1,000 riders took part and hundreds of chocolate eggs were brought straight to children, families, and staff. The event also raised thousands of pounds for several local charities supporting health, wellbeing and community causes.

For the children who receive them, these Easter egg deliveries are so much more than a treat, they bring excitement, a sense of celebration, and a reminder of how much the community cares during a time that can otherwise feel tough.

Seeing faces light up when riders arrive has become one of the most cherished parts of this event, and we’re proud to play our part in helping make it happen.

Every year, Salus provides voluntary medical cover for the run to ensure it can take place safely and smoothly for everyone involved riders, volunteers, families and patients alike.

It’s been a busy weekend here at Salus delivering event medical cover across the North East.

We’ve been proud to support Darlington Borough Council at SafeSpace on Friday and Saturday, RunThrough at their Newcastle Quayside 10K on Saturday, and Saturn Running at their Smurf Run in Durham today.

Great to see our teams and management out on the ground continuing to support our long-standing partners and keeping events running safely. 👏💙
