The theme for World Mental Health Day this year, set by the World Federation for Mental Health, is 'access to services - mental health in catastrophes and emergencies'.

The theme highlights the importance of people being able to protect their mental health whatever they're going through, because everyone deserves good mental health. ❤️

We were recently invited to an event at The Academy at Shotton Hall where Alf the Kid was presented an award from the High Sheriff of County Durham, in recognition of his community service over many years within the school and County Durham networks.

Alf’s input with Stamp It Out was mentioned, especially the Anti Stigma Kid (ASK), which he will continue to advocate and wear the costume to create discussions around mental health.

He has also linked into Australia regarding Coalfields Regeneration work - an exciting opportunity.

We wish him all the very best in his present and future endeavours. ❤️
