Our Monday morning men’s group had a trip out to Locomotion in Shildon today, a lovely way to spend some time together!

Found Poetry is now open for booking!
Found poetry is the art of taking a piece of text, and searching for a poem within it. Once we have found our piece of poetry within the page of text, we’ll use paints and collage to illustrate the poem directly on the page.
It is a really relaxing project and even if everyone starts with the same piece of text, everyone will come out with a different poem and will illustrate it in their own style, making each piece unique. The poems tend to be a reflection of yourself at the time of creating it.
All materials will be provided, 12th February, 1pm.

Help shape our Men’s Group!
Our Christmas Box project was wonderful and attracted a new set of men to our men’s group. We are having a session next Monday 12th January, at 11am in church to help shape the direction of this group. We are looking for any suggestions or interest that people would like to participate in. This could be anything from card/board games to photography to cooking to joinery. It will meet on Mondays but at a different time to the other group and will be indoors in the church.

If you are able to join us on Monday we would love to see you to help create an exciting new Men’s Shed!
