Easter Raffle

We have a grand Easter Raffle for the bargain price of £1 a strip. All money raised will be used to support our charity work.

The manky weather didn't stop us enjoying Brockbushes Farm Shop today. Personally I find home made sticky toffee pudding in a pond of toffee sauce with ice cream makes even the greyest of days brighter.

We love a Farm Shop visit and today it was Knitsley Mill.
We all had 'healthy portions' in the cafe before buying some of their home made goods in the butchery, deli, and bakery before being delivered safely home in our minibus by Janet.
Considering it was September in Consett the weather could not have been more glorious.

Today we had a leisurely cruise along the River Wear on the Prince Bishop.
It was a really beautiful day and so peaceful on the river. Many thanks to Jamie and his crew for the fascinating commentary and looking after us so well.
