Welcome to the team Katy R! Katy has joined us to run some Strength Classes she is doing a "Strong Women" class which has been a firm favourite here in the clinic and is also running our first ever "Strong Men" class. These have been highly popular and we were so pleased when Katy R came on board to help us expand the strength classes programme. Katy is currently offering only group classes but may offer 1:1 appointments in the future so keep your eyes peeled!

Hi, I'm Katy—a personal trainer passionate about empowering others to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. I've always loved being active, taking part in sports like badminton, judo, and athletics. These days, I row competitively in Head of the River Races and Regattas.
Alongside my career as a personal trainer, I'm training to become a Sport and Exercise Psychologist after spending 25 years as a nurse in the NHS. By the end of my studies with the Chartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES), I'll be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). While finishing my training, I hold a CIMSPA Level 3 qualification as a Personal Trainer and am an Advanced Athletic Skills Model Instructor.
My aim is to blend my background in nursing, psychology, and personal training into a personalised approach for each client. Helping people reach their fitness goals, especially after injury or surgery, is incredibly rewarding for me. I support everyday people such as:
