I'm an Osteopath and yoga teacher taking a small group to the award-winning Santillan centre near Malaga in just 13 days.

Is sitting the new smoking??? You've heard me ask this before - here's some more evidence:

Last night I interviewed Andrew Young, a top spinal surgeon from the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham one of the UK's leading spinal surgeons. The show went out to 600 healthcare professionals.

His statement: "The biggest load you can put on your spinal discs is sitting."

Not heavy lifting. Not gym work. Sitting!

8+ hours a day. 40% of UK adults with chronic back pain. The WFH revolution is becoming a spinal health crisis. And sitting has a whole heap of other health drags too - obesity, cardiac disease and diabetes to name but a few.

Not something that I knew much about but I love finding out, learning and having a conversation with an expert.
