2016 was the year that changed me forever.
I became a mum.

“How hard could it be?”
Everyone made it look so easy. No one really spoke about the hardship. They’d just say, “You’ll find a way.”

But I didn’t have the village.
I solo-parented a lot in those early years. The emotional and physical strain was intense. I felt alone. I felt broken.

There was no time for the gym, spa days, long lunches with friends. . . those things became luxuries.
So I found healing in small pockets of kindness to myself.

An extra five minutes in the shower with a body scrub infused with essential oils.
Walking to work after daycare drop-off just to breathe fresh air and move my body.
Foot soaks while watching TV in the evening (let’s not pretend we don’t binge watch in the evening 😂).
Journaling to unload the anxiety.
A gentle face massage before bed to help me decompress and finally sleep.

Tiny acts. But they kept me going . . . and still keep me going.

Ayurvedic remedies helped me feel stronger, inside and out.

And then… I found my people.
A group of mums who got it.
We found friendship. No judgement. No fixing. Just shared experiences and honesty.

I realised something powerful: I wasn’t alone.

Those small acts of self-care and connection brought me back to myself.
And I want you to know — if you’re in it right now — you’re not alone either.

That’s why I love organising monthly socials. A moment to step away from the chaos and just be you.
And why I offer facial massages — for when your nervous system needs to soften, your body needs to exhale, and your mind needs rest.

Motherhood shouldn’t be done alone.
Womanhood shouldn’t be done alone.

If you need support, space, or simply to feel held — I’m here 💙

Motherhood is beautiful . . . and it can also be overwhelming.

When I became a mum, I slowly stopped looking after myself. I was exhausted, burnt out, and trying to carry everything alone — without realising how much support I needed.

What changed things for me wasn’t big transformations. It was small, manageable rituals I could fit into real life:

A face massage in the evening before bed to calm the nervous system
A walk in fresh air
A coffee with friends who understood

That’s why I created Amba Rituals 🤍

I support busy women and mums through holistic facial massage using Ayurvedic marma points. And through gentle community spaces that remind us we matter too.

These small acts of self-care?
They ripple into how we feel, how we cope, and how we show up.

✨ Save this for the days you forget
✨Share this with a mum who needs permission to rest.
✨ DM me to book a facial
✨ Come walk with us or join a coffee morning

You don’t have to do this alone.

Hello lovely people!

A little reintroduction seems fitting for the start of the new year. If we haven’t met, a big hello!

I’m Leena, the face behind Amba Rituals. I’m a holistic therapist specialising in facial massage designed for busy mums who deserve time for themselves.

Born in Manchester, shaped by a decade in Sydney, and now based in London, with Indian roots always grounding me.

From a young age, I’ve always had an interest in natural therapies and skincare. And growing up in an Indian family, I learned alot about ayurvedic remedies, which have been passed down generations.

Amba Rituals is about creating space for women to slow down and reconnect with themselves.

Here’s how I support women like you:
🧖🏽‍♀️Holistic Facial Massages - more than glowing skin, they help you feel grounded, sleep better, release tension and restore balance.
👟Monthly Social Walks - gentle time out in nature fo
mums and women who need space away from the chaos of daily life.
☕️Coffee Mornings - a chance to pause, connect and nourish yourself with community (and good coffee!).

Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s essential.

My journey as a mum (I know what it feels like to spin a million plates while trying to find a moment for yourself) has inspired me to create simple, grounding rituals for women who need to reconnect with themselves.

If you’re looking for ways to slow down, release stress, and bring a little more balance into your life, you’re in the right place 💛

In 2026, my word for you is Vr̥ddhi (Growth) 🌱

The last few weeks have been deeply wholesome: time with loved ones, long lie-ins, no agendas, no social media — just presence. Stepping away may not have helped the algorithm, but it gave me space to reflect and feel truly grateful for how far we’ve come.

Last year asked a lot of me and my husband — redundancy, returning to work, becoming new homeowners, and raising our son with intention. Survival took up space. No extra holidays, DIY home repairs, and sacrifices made for future security.

By the end of the year, something had to give again — this time, it wasn’t my health. I slowed down treatments and stepped back from social media. Not ideal for business, but exactly right for my wellbeing and my family.

I protected my boundaries, kept burnout at bay, and found small rituals that nourished me — morning walks, evening facial rituals to calm my nervous system. No perfect routines. Just care where I could.

This year, my intention is simple and steady. Resilience has turned into growth. I want to nourish my body and nervous system as I grow older. want to grow my facial practice with care, presence, and patience — giving it the time it deserves and offering you the presence you deserve too.

I’m learning that growth doesn’t come from pushing harder, but from nourishment, consistency, and choosing care again and again.

Here’s to growing gently, deeply, and in alignment 🤍

If this resonates, stay connected, come to an event, or book a facial when your body asks for it.
Your wellbeing matters.
